In order to start fundraising money as a participant, login to your eventdog.com account and Click on the event that is tied to the fundraiser you are looking for. Once you are on the landing page, Click the Manage Fundraiser button.
This will take you to the fundraising landing page where you can access your funds, donors, how much money you’ve raised, etc. You have access to editing & accessing the following: Update Goal, Update Photo, Update Story, Incentives Earned, Choose Reward and Turn Fundraiser On/Off.
Update Goal
In order to update your fundraising goal, Click the Update Goal button and enter in the new amount that you want to raise and Click Save.
NOTE: you can’t enter a new amount that is less than the one that was there previously. It can only be higher.
Update Picture
By clicking this button, you can upload a photo that will accompany your fundraiser story that people will see when they click the fundraiser link.
Update Story
Here, you are able to edit the default story that was written by the fundraiser organizers.
This text convinces people to donate to the fundraiser and should include information about the cause and why they should be a part of it.
Incentives Earned
Here, you can view what Incentive prizes you have earned for short term goals achieved.
Choose Reward
When you have reached your long term fundraising goal, claim your reward here by Clicking on the “Choose Me” button next to the one you would like. Click Continue on the next pop up, then ……….
Turn Fundraiser On
By Clicking this button, you will have turned your fundraiser on and it will be visible to people wanting to donate. In order to turn it off, Click it again and it will read “Turn on” again.
